Nightlife in Detroit
As the day gets closer to it’s end, and the sun begins to fall, most of us begin our bedtime routines to prepare for the next upcoming day.
Unfortunately, many of us miss out on the amazing opportunities that the night offers, especially in the city of Detroit.
Yes, there a lot of things to do in Detroit at night that most people don’t even know about. Luckily, we’re here to let you in on the few of them.
Nighttime Eats
Whether you’re looking for a place to eat by yourself or a new date night hot spot, it’s a must that you check out The Belt.
The Belt is located next to Z Lot on Gratiot and holds a cluster of cool bars and eateries within it, one of the more notable ones being the Standby. Trust us, you must check out their wings.
Along with the hip bars, the graffiti and murals along the stretch of The Belt make it all the more amazing. We guarantee you’ll find something you love here.
Light It Up
When nighttime hits the city, Detroit becomes a spectacular light show. Campus Martius and Woodward explode with beautiful lights, making a perfect spot for evening photographers. Plus, the GM Center shows all its glory in the evening with it’s color rotating lights and reflective paneling.

Detroit Night Clubs
It’s a well-known fact that Detroit is one of the pioneers in the electronic music genre, so you can’t go wrong hitting one of the many night clubs on the scene.
The clubs here are high-energy and guarantee a fun night for you and your friends. Just remember one thing: party hard and get home safe.
